What is Word Search?

Word Search is a pattern-spotting game. You get a 10x10 grid of letters and a list of words hiding somewhere inside it. Find them all to finish the puzzle.

Game Rules

Grid: The game takes place on a 10x10 letter board.
Words: You must find all the listed words.
Directions: Words can be hidden horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Direction: They can be read forwards or backwards.
Intersection: Words can share letters.
Selection: Drag your finger or mouse to select the found word.

Difficulty Levels

Choose your challenge level:

Easy
Standard mode. All letters are visible. Perfect for relaxed play.
Medium
Challenge mode. Only the first and last letters of each word are shown. The rest are hidden!
Hard
Expert mode. No letters are shown in the word list. You have to find words purely by length and guessing!

Search Strategies

Systematic Scanning
Scan the grid row by row looking for the first letter of the word.
Highlight Letters
Look for less common letters (like Z, J, X, Q) if they appear in your words; they are easier to spot.
Groupings
Look for common endings (-TION, -ING) or double letters.
Smart Help
If you get stuck, use the lightbulb icon 💡 or use difficulty selection to reveal more hints.
